Streamer.bot Twitch Clip to Discord Action Import String

The following is a Streamer.bot action script that can be imported and modified to perform a Twitch clip (30 seconds) from chat (!clip) and have the URL posted to a channel on Discord. The 30 seconds is a Twitch API restriction. The channel owner will have the ability to go and manually edit these clips using the Twitch clip tool where its length can be longer (before and after the stream marker) and titles can be changed (another Twitch API restriction is that the clip title will match the name of the stream title).

In the Discord Basic Webhook sub-action (double-click on the sub-action), %targetUser% is the Twitch user name and %targetUserProfileImageUrl% is the user avatar on Twitch. This is how the Discord posting will look like (the “app” will be the Twitch username); see the last image.

Make sure to set the Discord Webhook in the sub-action and to enable the !clip command (it is disabled by default) in the Commands tab (right-click on the command and make sure there is check mark in the enable box). The command name can also be changed if desired.

Caveats: no fine control like when using the clip tool on Twitch and all clips show as being created by the channel broadcaster.
